This banjo was custom designed and handcrafted exclusively for a prominent american customer. The inlay design was made by Ruby Rubart. Each detail of the artwork is deeply rooted in Chinese mythology and properly researched to fit this design .

This banjo features fiddleback claro walnut and custom made B&D style parts in the size of 11 1/2 inches.All inlays are handcut out of various types of genuine mother of pearl blanks and handengraved. The fretboard has 20 frets and a 22 7/8 '' scale .Regular tenorbanjo tuning is used on this banjo. The slightly oversized construction of this banjo ( 11 1/2 '' ! ) along with a solid resonatorback makes for a truely good projecting and full sounding instrument.
